Kicking off the summer schedule, the 2X Monster Trucks Live show team arrived today in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, prepping for this Saturday’s show at the newly renovated and improved Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park.The motorsport park was taken over by a new management team and ownership over a year ago by a group of motorsports enthusiast with plans to upgrade the facility, increase the weekly racing series as well as bring specialty family events to the city. “Bringing a quality family entertainment show this year was always in the plan” said General Manager and partner, Jeremy Roth.
“The 2Xtreme Monster Truck National series brings top of line monster trucks and experienced drivers and that is what we were looking for.”This year’s show will feature popular trucks like2-time Monster Jam World Champion truck, Bounty Hunter , kid favorite trucks like Hot Tamale and Sharkbite as well as the Queen of Monster Trucks, Scarlet Bandit, driven by none other than Dawn Creten, the longest running female monster truck driver in the history of the sport, with over 20 years’ experience under her belt!“Outdoor shows are so different from stadium shows” said Jimmy Creten, driver, and owner of big bad Bounty Hunter. “There is so much space to perform and absolutely no limit on how far, how high, and how fast we can push these 10,000-pound trucks! It’s such a different experience for the fans and we hope to make this an annual show!”Creten stated .
